We had beads to show the plastic in the crust. We have rubber in the Mantle to show how it still can move. Then we had small washer in the outer core. In the inner core we had Washer to show the amount of iron in the core. We had washers in the outer and inner core to show the amount iron in the inner and outer core. And we had plastic to show the amount of plastic in the crust, and we had rubber in the Mantle to show I can still move.        

     

        They used the P waves which can go fast through solids, and slow through liquid's. Then when it goes through A solid they track it's speed to know it a solid or liquid. They use the secondary waves to check to see if there is any solids in the inner core of the Earth. They also use them to check where liquids are in the Earth. P waves are faster the S waves through solids and liquids.

      The primary waves would be able to go through all the layers. But the secondary waves wouldn't be able to travel through the inner core. Mainly because it is made of Liquid and not solid.

The mains cause of these volcanoes in the ocean are because of the oceanic crust spreading and is pushing up the new crust. One way Volcanoes are forming is because magma is rising pushing the old crust away and taking the big crust up. One way Island arcs are created is because magma is rising up and pushing the old crust away and pushing the new crust up.  Another way eruptions happen is because magma is rising inside the volcanoes pushing up the magma causing a eruption.
